"It isn't that they see healing but aren't saved, and we have salvation but aren't healed."

HEALING IS a promise of covenant. Covenant is God’s eternal word that He will not break. “Word” small w. Healing is a promise in God’s Word, big w, and He never lies and His Word is always accomplished (Isaiah 55:11). Set down your doubts, for a second, and listen. God’s Word says WHOSOEVER calls on the name of the Lord, who is Jesus, will be saved (Acts 2:21). That’s anyone. And we believe this. We know salvation is for all and God never says no. Healing is just the same. Healing is a promise of salvation to WHOSOEVER, and God never refuses it. NEVER.

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature … And these signs shall follow them that believe … they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” (Mark 16:15-18)

Once more, I got this from the Jews. They know God heals, and He heals because He promised He would. They know God never breaks His word, small w. That’s what it comes down to. We make God untrustable. To us, sometimes He heals, sometimes He doesn’t. but if that’s how He is, then we can’t trust Him with our salvation either.

Looking back at the Jews, G_d is their salvation. He promised it 119 times in the Torah and prophets. He also promised He cannot lie (Numbers 23:19). He said He is their righteousness, on repeat. He said He was Redeemer (Isaiah 47:4). They know this and trust in it.

And so here comes the big question I always ask.

Who is more saved? The Rebbe in Jerusalem who speaks miracles over people again and again? Great miracles are seen of many types of sicknesses. Or churches who don’t believe in apostles, don’t allow women in the pulpit, and don’t believe God heals?

The answer is both. Jesus fulfilled the Jews’ covenant (Matthew 5:17). All those promises that they trust Him for are theirs, including heaven. Jesus grafted us into their root (Romans 11:24). The disciples (apostles) were Jews. Paul was a Jew. The baptism of fire on Pentecost of Acts 2 was 120 Jews in the Jewish capital city, Jerusalem, on a Jewish holiday, and 3,000 Jews were saved. My point is, if they believe God keeps His word, why don’t we? If they know when the Rebbe speaks, it comes from God and God has spoken, then why do we doubt Jesus’ Word? He is the Word. John 1.

It isn’t that they see healing but aren’t saved, and we have salvation but aren’t healed. God is not divided between us but has torn down the wall of enmity and made us one (Ephesians 2:15). He delights in them. He delights in us. He answers any who call on Him, whether it’s to be His, as the Jews state it, or to becomes children of God, as we read in the new covenant.

This issue was settled the day Jesus healed the man with the palsy. His friends brought him to Jesus to be healed, but when Jesus spoke to him, He spoke forgiveness. Why did He do that? Those who heard Him asked this, too. In response, knowing their thoughts because of the Spirit upon Him, He replied to it. “Which is easier to say? You are forgiven or you are healed? (Mark 2:9)” Because the same power that forgives, that saves the soul, is the same power that heals.

For God so loved the world that He gave His Only-begotten Son so that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16. Believes in Him for salvation. Believes in Him for healing. For health. Whether it’s a Jew desire closeness with Hashem, for He is their Father (Isaiah 9:6). Or a Gentile, facing a doctor’s report that they cannot see past. Your sins are forgiven. Rise and walk.

And that man was a Jew.
