Torah Still Today

"They are walking in the Word."

NO ONE ASKED the disciples (apostles) where “that Truth” was written. Well, the Gentiles didn’t. The Jews had the Torah. Have the Torah still today. Really all Jesus explained (taught) was an expansion of the Torah. He quoted it constantly to show its fulfillment in Him (Luke 24:27). Following this thought, what the apostles wrote came from Him. So it came from the Torah. This will set you free if you’ll grab hold of it. There is redemption in the Torah. Salvation.

Psalm 25:5 says, “Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.” Then verse 22 continues, “Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.”

Same psalm has both salvation and redemption. And it’s not just there but everywhere.

Job 19:25 says, “For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth.”

He did stand upon the earth. His name is Jesus. They can’t see what He said for refusing to read His words, but His words are theirs. We, the Gentile church, need to embrace this. In many places, I see their teachings, their devotions, and time after time, they say what is written in the New Covenant without knowing it. One teaches study as gained revelation. The more you read, the more Light you have, until you know it in your soul. G_d takes us from darkness to Light. This is such revelation. And he saw it in the Torah.

There, we know who God is. It teaches His names. And we’ve clung to these, made sermons about them. We see His miracles in them. And the Jews proclaim them. Israel calls out G_d’s names for safety, for protection, for peace.

“And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.” (Luke 24:27)

Where is OUR faith? They have plenty, an abundance. Their God is living and loves them. He keeps His Word. As He was in David, He is in them. David is still their king. Forever. There, we see Jesus. “Salvation is of the Jews,” He said (John 4:22).

We’ve erased them. Until they say “Jesus” and deny the Torah, they are damned, so many Gentiles say. We’ve got it all wrong. Backwards. Jesus is the Vine, the Father is the Husbandman, the Spirit is now upon the earth amongst all people (John 20:22). Israel, the Jews, are natural branches, who know the Life in the Vine, who know He keeps His promises. We are grafted in (Romans 11:17), made part of the Truth given to them.

A Jewish mother, raising her children, drew nigh unto death until she was unable to eat on her own, unable to take care of herself. One of them went to the Rebbe for a blessing. The blessing is on film. So is the mother, totally healed, declaring her life a miracle. There are Gentiles who don’t believe this. They do. That Rebbe knew the power of the blessing and that Hashem would hear and do it. While we’re discouraging each other over faith, they are walking in the Word.

I’m asking you to come up higher. Sit closer. Seek Him. And allow Him to open the eyes of your understanding and give you Light. Not just about the Jews, but about who He is. Move from being just an attendee of your church into having an intimate relationship with God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Choose to trust them over anything else and to learn to walk in the Spirit, led of the Spirit, all day every single day. You will never look back and will be amazed out what you used to think that you can’t anymore.

“All these are the twelve tribes of Israel: and this is it that their father spake unto them, and blessed them; every one according to his blessing he blessed them.” (Genesis 49:28)
