My dad is the best. In thinking of what to write and how to honor him, I kept returning to his faithfulness. I've always known he is faithful, but in the last few years, he has supported me without one word about why I struggled or giving me any words of correction. No criticism, no guilt, he's only been backbone. My mom would agree. He holds her up, too.

There is a great example of a father's love in my dad. I've always felt loved. Always known he'd do anything for me. But it's in being an adult who still relies on him that I see blessing. With all his quirks, his humor and interests, he is just like his father. Like his brothers, my uncles, those home and on earth.

And like His Father who gifted me to him, knowing where I am weak, he makes me strong.

I love you, Dad.
