Look At Jesus

"The end of all things on earth is peace."

LET’S JUST hand all the troubles of the world to Jesus. He can handle it. He’s God. He knows all things. A-l-l, all. He didn’t while living His human life on the earth. Then He died and was Resurrected, perfected, and now, He does. And do you know, nothing is a surprise? His Father, our Abba, decreed the end already, and it is peace.

The end of all things on earth is peace.
“After war,” you say. Nope. Not after war. There will be NO WAR. This is not God’s nature. Just look at Jesus again. Men wanted war and their Mashiach as a conqueror. He came as an infant, grew up in Nazareth, a Jew, and died at Jerusalem when they grew jealous. The Roman ruler, Pilate, said this of them, as they cried for crucifixion (Mark 15:10). Point is, there was no war. No fight at all, not even with His words. When blamed for things, He didn’t reply (Mark 15:3)

“Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth.” (1 Peter 2:22)

There is peace in heaven. Peace in salvation. We are peacemakers (Matthew 5:9). Yet we think God is angry, vengeful, and ready to “make sinners pay.” We misunderstand His personality, judging Him from our human standard. And from misread King James words.

What He wants is for us to know Him. To spend time with Him, speak to Him, and hear Him reply. He wants conversation and trust. “Faith” is taught so complicated, and being honest, not until I removed the word “faith” did it make sense to me. It is simply how much we trust Him, and I trust Him with everything. I trust Him more than people, more than education and experience. He stepped into my life, knowing what I was facing long before I ever existed. And loved me amidst the mess. He healed me. I did not heal myself, as if I could in my own efforts be good enough for Him.

That we need Him is all that is required. That we lean on Him, and He fixes everything, should be our heart. On a personal scale, in our daily lives. On a national scale, with all we face in this fifty states. And on a worldwide one. Where nations form and fall, He is King of all.

“Keep an open conversation with God and talk with him about everything,” (1 Thessalonians 5:17, Remedy)
