Way Up

"God knows everything."

THERE IS a level of revelation that cannot be put into words. Things that, though you know them, when the Spirit fully reveals them to you, you cannot un-see it. Too much teaching is done out of head knowledge, what has been education and is not revelation. Revelation is far more powerful because it is given by the power that Resurrected Jesus from the dead – the Holy Spirit. He contains all knowledge, or we can say it this way, HE IS KNOWLEDGE. There is nothing He did not create. Jesus called Him our Teacher (John 14:26), saying He will guide us into truth and remind us of all things.

“God knows everything.” (1Jn 3:20 EasyEnglish)

What He reveals holds clarity in the heart. What is in the heart or spirit is our influence. For an unsaved person, it is sin. Which sounds churchy. Obviously, an unsaved person can do things that aren’t sin. There are fantastic artists, for example. But salvation is God living in our spirit. He made us a spirit like Himself. God is a spirit. John 4:24. When we die and our body is buried, just as Jesus’ body was laid in the tomb, His spirit was alive and is eternal. He is alive today, as Resurrection, because after dying and being out of His physical body, the Holy Spirit healed His body and He returned to it. But my point is, in giving you that, that His body knew nothing and did nothing while He was not living in it. All He knew, all He is, was in heavenly places.

“I have glorified You on earth by accomplishing the work You gave Me to do. And now, Father, glorify Me in Your presence with the glory I had with You before the world existed.” (John 17:4-5, BSB)

It may be helpful to you to realize angels are spirits and so are devils (fallen angels). They have no physical body but are created beings. Devils, because they sinned, lost their substance or shape, but do speak. Angels come in differing spirit bodies. The angels of Ezekiel’s vision are huge. Gabriel, who spoke to Zacharias, Joseph, and Mary, Jesus’ mother, was of a more known size, as evidenced by their lack of fear.

Another reference are the words of Genesis 1:2 which says, “And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” That’s not a six-foot-square but the circumference of the earth. He can fill any location.

It is what happens in us when we choose to be saved that caused Jesus to lay down His life and be Resurrected. It is the words of John 3:16. We were dead because sin ruled us. Salvation invites God to live in us, which is His heart’s desire. But we have to SEE IT, as revelation. We realize it isn’t just a story, but it actually happened. We see Jesus’ love for us, and this revelation cannot be taken away. All maturity begins with it then grows as we seek Him. As we spend time with Him. We must know He’s real first and now, in us. God is with us forever. We see new Truths from that moment and into eternity, we are told in 1 Corinthians 13:12.

Today, we know in part, it says, but then, when we’re with our King and Savior, all will be revealed. Meaning, there is so much higher to go, so much more of Him to see revealed. And a lot of it unable to be put into words. Which makes it so much better, if you ask me
