You Are Loved

"Nothing can be further from the truth."

YOU ARE VALUABLE TO GOD. Ignore any condemnation. All of it. It only comes from wickedness. Either people, realizing or not realizing the source of their words, or your own doubts. And know the devil isn’t in your ear. People say this, but the devil is de-feeted (Hebrews 4:12;1 John 3:8). Jesus silenced him. Sin that he caused is still here and with it, all kinds of wrong thoughts. Yet again, we have the Word of God, who is Jesus, living and breathing, to silence them. He is the physical manifestation of the heart of the Father. The written Word is His living Voice.

“How blessed is God! And what a blessing he is! He’s the Father of our Master, Jesus Christ, and takes us to the high places of blessing in him. Long before he laid down earth’s foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love. Long, long ago he decided to adopt us into his family through Jesus Christ. (What pleasure he took in planning this!) He wanted us to enter into the celebration of his lavish gift-giving by the hand of his beloved Son.” (Ephesians 1:3-6 MSG)

“Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;” (Hebrews 1:3)

The Word says you are loved. Jesus says you are loved. This is the message of the cross, the sermon which everyone in the service of God should speak continually. The Scripture on every apostle’s, every prophet’s, every evangelist’s, every pastor’s and teacher’s tongue should be John 3:16. For God SO LOVED the world that He gave His Only-Begotten Son to die for us, to rise again for us. All Truth of the Scripture is founded on it. Every work the Holy Spirit does in man’s heart, mind, and body, is because He is love.

It has been said faith is a credit card. Faith has been pictured as measurable, though the same speakers say, unfortunately, we are always far short. It has been made into an object, when it is a fruit of the Spirit’s life within us alongside a range of emotions. Galatians 5:23-24. Love is an emotion. Joy is an emotion. Peace is calm emotions. Longsuffering (patience) is the endurance of the emotions. Goodness, meekness, and temperance (self-control) are right-behaved emotions. All of these life-growths from God’s Spirit affect the behavior through the emotions. On the other hand, it is commonly said of faith that it is not affected by the emotions. We should be in faith regardless of how we feel. Nothing can be further from the truth.

Faith worketh by love (Galatians 5:6). Faith is not something we use to please God. Faith is our trust in the love God has for us. It can’t be separated from Him. He loves us more than we can ever understand and will do anything for us. Our relationship with Him gives us all we need to trust Him completely. It is said by some that we can love others without feeling loving. This isn’t God’s heart for you. He created you in His image and after His likeness. How you love and how much you love is just like Him. A true experience with the love of God is lifechanging. It eliminates any doubt about if you love someone. You can’t NOT love them, no matter how horrible they are, because God can’t NOT love you.

People are at all levels of maturity with God, in many levels of relationship. Love them where you are then focus not on their remarks but on God’s gentle heart and your own strength in Him. Trust not in your own understanding but lean on His Presence and His Word and He will direct your paths.

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)
