He Is Holy

"There is no chance He will sin. No chance He does evil."

HE IS HOLY. Set apart. Sacred. It is more than that, though. To be “set apart” is to not be WITH what else exists. Here is Emmanuel, God WITH us, but He is not WITH the devil. James 1:13 makes this clear:

“Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:” (James 1:13)

To be tempted is to be given a chance. There is no chance He will sin. No chance He does evil. We must define evil. Evil is any work of the evil one, who delights to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). In this same reference, what Jesus came to do is stated clearly. “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” We cannot confuse LIFE with DEATH. This is paramount. Sin is DEATH. God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – are LIFE abundantly. John 3:16 makes this statement as well. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” The word “everlasting” means “without beginning and end, that which always has been and always will be (G166).” They are always.

“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” (Revelation 1:8)

Ephesians 3:20 states He will do “exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think.” That means He is “too much” for us to comprehend. I have experienced this. It is why I continually say the God the church describes is nothing like Him. Nothing. I have heard a few others testify of Him as I know Him, but most speak of Him as a painted image and not living. A person may KNOW that He is living but to have Him speak to you directly changes everything. He’s far more understanding, for one thing. He’s down-to-earth. And not worried about one thing we are up against in this nation, or other nations, or financially, nor physically and mentally. He is ALL WE NEED in ABUNDANCE. To be abundant is endless supply. He is without end. Infinite.

1 Peter 1:23 says He is “incorruptible seed.” What is incorruptible cannot be corrupted nor is subject to decay. That He cannot be corrupted is such encouragement. He is Judge, he says in John 5:22. The Father has made Him so, and His judgment is, therefore, perfectly just, not tainted by opinion nor favoritism. He is the Word of God who knows the intimate thoughts and intention of our heart (Hebrews 4:12). He knows our words before we speak them (Psalm 139:4). There is no fooling God, no twisting the facts to suit our need. He sees through all of it. This upsets some people, but it brings me great comfort. Because I know whatever He says to me or asks me to do, I can rely on Him completely.

Which circles me back around to holiness. Holiness is the essence of all of these things. But it is as I have said – He is within us, and so the Father is within us, whom Jesus called GREATER than He (John 14:28). The Holy Spirit is in us and can come upon those who ask Him to. He is on the corrupted earth, but it does not corrupt Him. They cannot be corrupted, but instead, Their holiness changes all it touches.

“His breath filled all things with a living, breathing light—A light that thrives in the depths of darkness, blazes through murky bottoms. It cannot and will not be quenched.” (John 1:4-5, VOICE)
