How To Pray

"Involve Him in everything."

How to pray: “God? Help!” Or “GOD??? HELLLLLLP.” Or “GOOOOOOOOOOD @#^$&# HELP!”

So basically, just talk and say whatever is bugging you, and He will hear it. That's it. Make conversation. He knows you like pickles, but you can tell Him. Or anything else you wanna say.

“Seriously, Suzanne?’

Well, yeah. He knows every little part of me, and NEWS FLASH: He's in perpetual good humor. He just wants us to involve Him in everything.

If we will, then He will edumacate us and we'll learn how to pray better. But it starts and ends with “you be you” right where you're at. Angry? Yell. Sad? Cry. Happy? Giggle.

Another thing to know: GOD HAS EMOTIONS. “Gasp. No ...” Yes. He created them. What, what??? Yeah, like that feeling a man has for His wife. God’s. And the way a mother looks at her newborn. God’s. The frustration over what's not working right is also His, but the stupidy-dupity devil likes to get hold of it and convince you to live there. Don't, Give it to God.

The Scripture says to cast your care. So cast it. Or heave it. Or place it. Then go on. And if it comes back up say, “No, I cast that.” Then do something to take your mind off of it. And live every minute from then on as if He is chatting you up.

“Oh, I love these ...” (Snatches chocolate bar from the grocery display) I have it on good authority Jesus loves chocolate.

“He answered, ‘This type of evil is only overcome by talking with my Father.’” (Mark 9:29, Remedy)

“And talk with God with an enlightened mind, intelligently, on all occasions, about all of your concerns, requests, plans, and issues.” (Ephesians 6:18, Remedy)

“Always be joyful; keep an open conversation with God and talk with him about everything, and no matter what your situation—be thankful, because God is for you in Christ Jesus.” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, Remedy)
