"Nothing the devil has attempted will ever be too much for Him" |
HE IS HOLY. There is no error in Him, no lack of judgment, no injustice. He is never without wisdom or understanding. He always has power to accomplish what He has set out to do. He has no indecision. He is not wavering or wondering. Questioning. But all His choices are perfect. He does not hold hands with evil. There is no wickedness in Him. But He is infinite goodness. Always good.
“When you are tempted don’t ever say, ‘God is tempting me,’ for God is incapable of being tempted by evil and he is never the source of temptation.” (James 1:13 TPT)
He is forever kind, forever gentle, forever meek and humble. But He is not weak, not lackadaisical nor lazy. Not half-hearted. Nor unsure. He is emotional, filled with love and eternally patient, but not fluctuating or faltering in it. He is sure in all things—sure-footed, surely, assured. And His sureness is right. Right in stance, in placement, in timing, in fortitude. He is longsuffering, long in blessing. He is longing.
“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.” (Psalms 23:6)
He gives us the desires of our heart, exceeding, abundantly, far over and above what we could ever ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Because that is the way He thinks. He thinks not in squares but in acres, not in inches but in millions of miles. Yet, He sees our dust, knows the number of our hairs, the structure of our DNA, and our next unspoken thought. He cares even for the tiny sparrows. He is never confused but instead, one step ahead, and one step behind. He is all around us.
He is light in the darkness, breath when ours is taken, fullness when we are empty, an unending song when the notes just won't come.
“When Jesus again spoke to the people, he said: ‘I am the true light revealing God’s character, principles and methods to the world. Whoever prefers what I am revealing, and opens their mind to understand this truth, will no longer walk in the darkness of Satan’s ways, or live in fear of God because of the devil’s lies, but will have the truth that brings eternal life.’” (John 8:12, Remedy)
Now take these things He is and ask yourself where you've seen Him as wanting. Where did He falter? Where was He uneven, unsure and unjust? He isn’t. Now, change your thinking to see that we are who's unable and often incorrect and too apt to judge. See our fears and shortcomings and that He made Himself like us so that we can know how much He has conquered and that no depth of disaster, no choice made incorrectly, and nothing the devil has attempted will ever be too much for Him to save and rescue us.
Not government, for He is Head of it. Not kingdoms, for He is King of all. Not systems and fallacies concocted by demons, not even when men with selfishness push them over on us. For there is no going over Him. He sits at the top. He holds the keys of death and hell which He conquered, and the keys of heaven which He is. And though the devil lies about Him, saying what some believe, He is the Truth of all things, revealed to us, and soon, very soon, to the whole of everything which will see Him and know.
“In him was life; and the life was the light of men.” (John 1:4)
“For Jesus Christ is God in human flesh. Jesus is the very nature and substance of Divinity manifested in humanity; he is the channel through which God’s character, methods and principles flow into mankind,” (Colossians 2:9, Remedy)
