"But God sent Jesus." |
GOD IS in control. He wrote the beginning. He wrote the ending. He began time in order to end time. God is in control. He accomplished the plan He set in place before the foundation of the world. He sent His Only-begotten Son to earth to bring to mankind a revelation of the kingdom of God and all that it is so that we can enter in. God is in control. Despite the devil knowing Jesus was the Messiah, when every unclean spirit for miles shouted it out, despite the devil sending him to the cross in an attempt to rid the earth of Him, Jesus returned from the dead and is alive forever. God is in control. In death, Jesus was alive. He is forever united with the Holy Spirit. He was never NOT united with the Holy Spirit. And He crossed the gulf between Paradise, Abraham’s bosom, and Hades and took back the keys of death, hell, and the grave. God is totally in control. He sacrificed an animal to clothe Adam and Eve. He will be the one to delete death permanently. There will be no more sorrow or mourning. No hell, no devil, no demons, no one born on earth suffering because of them.
The devil accomplished exactly nothing. He tried to exalt his throne above God’s. But God saw it coming. And the devil lost everything – his beauty, his authority, his musical ability. He thought he’d ruin God’s plans on earth by causing sin and death. But God sent Jesus. He thought he’d killed Jesus, but Jesus can’t die. He thought he’d condemned man, but now, he stands condemned. He thought he ruled the world, but God is in control. God has never NOT been in control. Of anything. The devil is a liar. He lied to Eve. He lied to Jesus. He lies to you and me. Read the book. God’s Word is truth.
God has never been in control. He made man able to choose life or death, but He recommended life. God has never been in control. He brought life to earth, but man continues to choose death. God has never been in control. He condemned the devil, but man continues to listen to him. And deny it. And not understand it. God has never been in control. He set the ending, He promised to return for His children, but waits for them to spread the good news about Jesus Christ. God has never been in control. He formed Israel and made covenant with them, but they disobeyed and disobeyed and most now fear Jesus Christ. Most deny Jesus Christ. God has never been in control. But in relinquishing control showed He was in control. He’s longsuffering, of everlasting mercy, and great compassion.
He created all things with words. He commands all things with words. He puts His words in our mouths so that what we say will come to pass. He gave us control so we could give Him control. He is Lord whether we make Him Lord or not. But He is Lord because we make Him Lord. God is in complete control, but He is not controlling. And we can trust Him completely, knowing all He has said, He will do. Knowing all we believe, He will fulfill. Knowing what we never lhink nor imagine, He will do for us anyway. Knowing what we choose is what we receive, yet what we receive is sometimes what we did not know to choose. And what we did not know to choose is exceeding, abundantly above all we can ask or think.
God is in control, and every eye will see Him. Some will rejoice. Some will wail. God is in control. Wickedness will be judged. But God is not in control. Some have chosen to be wicked. Holiness is ours if we want it. Unholiness can be cleansed because He loves us. It all depends on who is in control. Him or us.
“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:” (Deuteronomy 30:19)
“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” (Joshua 24:15)
“And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.” (Acts 1:7)
“And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;” (Revelation 5:9)
“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” (Revelation 21:4)
