The Word of the Lord

"And there in the midst of the fire, surrounded by smoke and flames, came the Son of God."

WE’VE GIVEN INTO inevitability. We’ve sat down and accepted what the devil in people have decided about our country, our government, and our children’s future. Where Patriots laid down their finances, lost their homes and their lives, to secure the name America, we’ve opened ours to China and Islam and cryptocurrency. Because it was easier to pacify the voices crying out for our blood, we opened our veins and drained them. But the God of heaven and earth made this nation. He decided there must be a USA. He urged its founders to sail across the wide seas, and it was His presence in them that caused them to call upon Him for their sustaining here.

The Lord never forgets, not a face, not a name, not a prayer. They are instead ever before Him, always in His ears, continually replaying. Around Him, in the throne room of heaven, are generations of Americans pleading with Him for our cause, and He has heard, and He will continue to hear. Because from these shores has gone support for Israel, the spread of the gospel, and countless foot soldiers and naval men to defend countries taken over by the enemy.

Do not ever think He is neglectful or shortened in strength. Do not ever think He is lapse, lackadaisical. Instead, it is that we must stop accepting what has been pushed upon us. We must stop swallowing the lies and spouting them in frustration. Where is our faith? Where is the church triumphant who stands for the poor, the oppressed, the widow and orphans? We’ve left this to a handful of men and women with generous hearts and sat tightfisted in our homes, wailing about the economy and strangers, about elections and political positions.

“Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, unto all that are carried away captives, whom I have caused to be carried away from Jerusalem unto Babylon; Build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them; Take ye wives, and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons, and give your daughters to husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters; that ye may be increased there, and not diminished.” (Jeremiah 29:4-6)

The nation of Israel was raped, their cities destroyed, their temple leveled and all its good stolen, They were taken off to a nation they knew nothing of and sat there and bawled. Sat and fashioned for themselves false truths to soothe their losses. Then God spoke and told them to LIVE. “LIVE!” He said, “Build houses, plant gardens, have marriages, bear children.” For the Word of the Lord must be THE WORD OF THE LORD, and not an armpit prophet whose words he’s pulled from the pit of his stomach. “I see you,” He said. “I love you, and I will heal you. But it must be in my time at my Spirit.”

And this is how it happened. But in the meantime, we see Daniel and his friends. I refuse to use their Babylonian names. They were Hebrew. They stood for the God of Israel to their own deaths, and there in the midst of the fire, surrounded by smoke and flames, came the Son of God. The fourth man in the fire whose presence protected them, and they emerged at the king’s insistence free of any smell of smoke. It was not their words that they would either suffer or live at God’s hand, but that regardless of the king’s actions, their God would save them. Read it in the eyes of the Spirit and not your misunderstanding. Would the God who would send His Son, send Himself to die a horrible physical death, abandon those standing for him to the fate of an ungodly ruler? Should these three have accepted the inevitable? Or would they come out of that situation with their God recognized among the heathen?

“Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.” (Daniel 3:24-25)

Where is the church in this hour? Why does the world and the devil look stronger, and men run to ungodliness for safety instead of seeing in us the beauty of Him who owns the cattle on a thousand hills? Who with scars on His back and holes in His hands, with a sword’s thrust in His side, stands above us all in the Kingdom of heaven, asking for our dedication to His Word? No word spoken against us shall prosper, not on the lips of the heathen, not from either Democrat or Republican, not from black or white or any other culture. The only word we need in this hour is the WORD OF THE LORD and He has said in bold print – LIVE America! LIVE!

“Deliverance, Lord, deliverance; Lord, grant us days of prosperity!” (Psalm 118:25, Knox)
