The Seed

"For THE SEED to bring Life, it must first die."

GOD PLANTED A SEED before there was seed. Before the waters separated from the waters, before His light spread around the earth, He foreordained the Life in the Seed and the lifecycle of it. He designed the Seed and set in order for man to cultivate it, for woman to bear it. From them would come the Seed which would replenish the earth.

God planted a Seed, intending that Seed to produce after its kind. A peach tree produces peach trees which grow peach fruit. Peach fruit serves two purposes, to produce more seeds and thus more trees, and to nourish the eater of it. He wanted His Seed to reproduce itself, making more in His image, and for the bounty of fruit which would form to nourish any who would partake.

God made seeds. He planned the Life from the Seed and the growth of the Seed, the fruitfulness of the Seed, the multiplication of it. He intended for everywhere that Seed fell to become fruitful. Some ground would require more work, need more time plowing, need additional water, but the Life in the Seed was more than enough to stimulate healthy growth.

God gave Life to the Seed. But for the Seed to bring the Life He’d given it, it must first die. God created the Seed before death came to the soil, before death came to the bearer of the Seed. Before death claimed the Seed, before it fell to the ground and died alone, before death ever came into being, God made seeds. God made Life.

Knowing. God knew the death of the Seed would cause the Life of the Seed to flourish. God knew the one who caused death and the one who brought death would be bound by death, and God knew that the defeat of death would come at the death of the Seed. God created the Seed. God planned the Seed in order to defeat the maker of death and death itself, long before there was any need for seeds.

God planted the Seed. Before death. So when death came, Life would follow and multiply and spread and replenish, producing seeds innumerable, growth unstoppable. Woman deceived introduced death. Man willing embraced death. God, prepared with a Seed, defeated it.
