Speak The Word

"Make God's voice a priority and stop listening to the enemy."

WHEN THE ENEMY COMES IN LIKE A FLOOD, cut him off at the pass. Speak the Word. Tell him, "No, God says…” and insert the Word. Say, “I am healed by Jesus stripes.” “I have more than enough (wisdom, strength, energy, finances).” Whatever it is you are believing for, SPEAK THE WORD FIRST. Make God's voice a priority and stop listening to the enemy. If you know he is telling a lie, and Jesus said he is, then don't listen. “No, dummy, I will not hear you any more on this issue.”

We choose what we receive. Our ears pick up many things. You can't stop someone from talking, but you can refuse to listen. Doctors are doing their job. You went to them for a diagnosis. Knowing what to believe for is essential, but that's all it is. Your body may agree with the doctor. It may look one way, but WHAT DOES GOD'S WORD SAY?

What the Word says takes precedence over what anyone else says, human or devil. What people say doesn't matter. So they see you ailing and point it out. Speak the Word. So the enemy keeps talking defeat. Blah blah blah. What does the Word say? Speak the Word and walk by faith.

But, Suzanne, I don't understand faith.

Me either, when men define it. But when God speaks it, I understand it completely because HE IS FAITH. It is defined in Him. Know Him, know whom you believe in and be fully persuaded that He will keep His Word. Know Him when the enemy mocks you, and sometimes the enemy sounds like family, sounds like friends. But know what he says is a lie and turn aside from the voice of defeat, and instead, SPEAK THE WORD.

Speak the Word over your family, over your children. All my children are taught of the Lord and great is the peace of my children. My sons and my daughters prophesy. They are filled with the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.

Speak the Word over your finances. My God is more than enough. He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all I can ask or think. He knows what I have need of and will do more than I could ever ask. As I sow a seed into this need, He delights to return it to me greatly multiplied.

Speak the Word to your body. Speak it out loud. Make sure you can hear it. And speak it when you don't believe it, speak it until you do. Until the first words out of your mouth are, "I am in excellent health and my soul prospers." God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and power to do good and heal all that are oppressed of the devil. He came to heal and He is still healing!

Speak the Word over your city. What does God say about its prosperity, about its economy? Speak the Word over your nation. God saves nations. He saves peoples. Know the Word for your situation and speak the Word. Make God's Word your priority and you will find faith. Faith isn't a procedure. It's a position of the heart made up of hope and confidence in God and held fast by patience. What are you hoping for? Have confidence in God to supply it and lean on the Spirit of God for patience to receive it. Patience is a fruit of the Spirit. Have patience with joy!

Walk by faith IN THE SPIRIT and not in the flesh. Many a battle has been lost because men were too self-focused. Faith is not self-effort. It's God reliance. "God, I can't do this, but YOU CAN, and YOU WILL!" Speak the Word then expect Him to bring it to pass. Expect Him to do what He says. Act on the Word where you know how to act, but not in self-effort. In effort made because the Holy Spirit guides in how to walk in and where to walk. And here's the best news! Walk in the Spirit and you can't get it wrong! God knows what He's doing. He will take care of you. That is why Jesus came.

Ask yourself how God feels about your situation. God is at peace. And so you should be at peace. God is confident. He knows His Word. So speak His Word. Speaking puts action to your faith. Do what you can to put action to your faith. But take steps of faith as God leads you to. Don't get caught up in what type of action or your lack of action and so negate your faith.

Don't get caught up in fear. Fear over your health. Fear over your family. Fear over your job. FEAR OVER YOUR FAITH. Too many let fear steal their faith. God has not given you fear of the answer nor the steps to the answer. God loves you, and He promises you health and success. Lean and rely on Him. He's 100% reliable.

The enemy draws men aside to look at why things did not work, at the mistakes and impossibility of it, at other men's failures. But that is the enemy's tactic. He engenders questions about futilities. You SPEAK THE WORD. What does God say? There should be your focus. Focus on the Word and the truth in the Word. Focus on Jesus and walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh. Too many try to walk by faith in the flesh, in their mind, and they neglect the power of God within them. He is the wisdom you need. He is truth.

Stop speaking the words of the enemy. Just speak the Word and keep walking, keep living, keep enjoying your days, keep laughing, keep loving. Keep planning your future. Keep dreaming. There is the action of faith, that you never ever give up.

Condemnation is from the enemy. Encouragement comes from God.

“And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out, Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God. And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him.” (Mark 1:23-25)

“And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him.” (Mark 1:34)

“And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.” (Philippians 1:6 AMPC)
