All Of Faith's A Stage

"Hope is the blueprint, the design for the stage."

BEFORE THE PERFORMANCE, there was the stage. Before the meal, there was the individual food. Someone had to build the stage. Someone prepared the food. For there to be a meal, the ingredients must be purchased, must be delivered to the store. Must be grown and picked. The stage must be designed. It’s length and width decided. There are blueprints, plans for both.

In order to have faith, there must be hope. You cannot walk without having a plan on where to walk. You must know which way you are going. Hope is the path for faith. The blueprint. It is the design for the stage, and without the design, you will not know how much material to purchase. Without a script, you will not have a performance.

In the Word, man is told to walk by faith. But the design, the blueprint for faith to do its work comes from God. Even at its simplest, the vision man imagines, which he desires, comes from thinking given to him by God. Our desires must be aligned with God's vision, but then the blueprint of them, WHAT they are, WHERE they come into being, and the HOW are laid out in hope.

Faith latches onto hope and brings action. A blueprint simply gives the design and will remain only an idea until someone chooses work. To believe for something, to admire hope, without committing to work makes faith dead. A stage becomes a performance because people stand on it and quote lines. Otherwise, you have a surface which can hold weight and that's all.

Walk by faith. Put legs to the blueprint God's given you. Quote the Word for your situation. What does it say about healing, about prosperity, about a healthy family? Read it aloud. Quote it when you feel pressured. And praise God for the answer. That puts action to faith.

And faith acted on brings results.

“But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.” (1 Thessalonians 5:8)

“Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.” (1 Peter 1:21)
