Just Jesus

"The gender of the minister matters not at all but that people would see the love of Christ."

WHICH MATTERS MORE, that the person who led people to Christ was a woman, or should we have told those desperate individuals to wait until we found the right gender? Jesus came to save people – WHOSOEVER. He told both male and female to speak the Word of God. It says, "Go YE and preach..." Not "go him" or "go her."

The Bible also says to not create strife and division because strife is the cause of "every evil work."

We are ONE BODY made up of many parts which must work together. Hands and feet and eyes and arm pits. We teach ONE GOSPEL, not different doctrines. A minister I heard recently pointed out that in the book of Acts, they preached ONE MESSAGE. They taught Jesus Christ died and rose again so you could be saved, filled with the Holy Spirit, and signs would follow, great healings and deliverances.

It is man that broke the gospel up into many parts. But Jesus' body was broken so that His BODY wouldn't be. His body was broken so we, His church, would be whole. UNITED.

The gender of the minister matters not at all but that people would see the love of Christ, would hear His words, would experience the draw of His Spirit, and give their hearts to God. I guarantee you no one will get to heaven and be judged because they were male or female when they spoke. Nor that they should have been Baptist or Pentecostal or some other denomination.

However, here on earth what we've done is what the apostle Paul warned the Corinthians about. They argued over who to follow, Paul or Apollos or just Jesus. "Is Jesus broken into many parts?" Paul asked. He then called them carnal and babies for their behavior.

There is on the earth male and female. Both are made in God's image and after His likeness. He loves both to the same extent. He calls a woman in Proverbs virtuous and King David valiant, which is the same Hebrew word. A woman can be valiant and a man virtuous. The only gender role we should defend is that of a husband and a wife.

A woman is called the weaker vessel, meaning physically. Although in this day, there are women much stronger than some men. It does not mean weaker mentally or less intelligent or less creative or .... LESS. The husband in that same passage is then told to love His wife as Christ loves the church. I should not need to point out how much that is. She should be that important to him that he would give his life for her and her devotion be of an equal measure.

Look through the four gospels and count the number of times Jesus ministered to women. They followed him and gave of their substance. They were also in the upper room when the Spirit descended at Pentecost and all in the room spoke in languages they did not know and more than 3,000 were saved. It does not say only the men had this experience.

And need I point out Mary the mother of Jesus was among them? God spoke to a woman to carry the Messiah then He saved her as a result of His death and Resurrection and filled her with the Holy Spirit.

Stop letting the enemy into the church. There is no place among us for pride or arrogance. The fruit of the Spirit is to both men and women who are to exemplify love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and self-control. Yeah, that. And both male and female must crucify the flesh with its affections and lusts. And both are to walk in the Spirit.

WE are a living sacrifice. WE are carriers of the gospel. WE are not our differences except to celebrate them and rejoice when that one says YES to Jesus, regardless of who gave the message that God blessed with His anointing that drew them there.

All are salt.
All are praise.
All are noise.
All repent,
and all come to believe the truth.

"Marriage is the beautiful design of the Almighty, a great and sacred mystery—meant to be a vivid example of Christ and his church. So every married man should be gracious to his wife just as he is gracious to himself. And every wife should be tenderly devoted to her husband." (Ephesians 5:32-33 TPT)

"For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus...and heirs according to the promise. " (Galatians 3:27-28, 29)
