God's About To Move

"When it's darkest, when it's weakest, when it seems the least, God's about to move."

WHEN THINGS LOOK REALLY DIFFICULT, THEN GOD’S ABOUT TO MOVE.
When it seems like everything’s headed south, then God’s about to move.
When it’s too hard and nothing’s going right, then God’s about to move.

“Friends, when life gets really difficult, don’t jump to the conclusion that God isn’t on the job. Instead, be glad that you are in the very thick of what Christ experienced. This is a spiritual refining process, with glory just around the corner.” (1 Peter 4:12-13 MSG)

When people and governments and nations are in revolt, at the moment you’re facing something impossible, know this one thing—God’s about to move.

If there’s a Red Sea in front of you, then God’s about to move.
If a giant is yelling curses at you, then God’s about to move.
If there’s an edict condemning your entire people to destruction, then God’s about to move.

God’s always got something better up His sleeve. He’s not only one step ahead, He’s light years ahead. He’s outside of time and has time all rolled up and ready to be rolled out for good. When it’s darkest, when it’s weakest, when it seems the least, God’s about to move. He has a plan. He’s already put it in motion and only needs one man or woman to stand in faith and believe.

I don’t know about you, but I will be that one. No matter how unusual it is, how long I must wait for it, from what direction it descends and through what person, I know my God is moving. He’s never staring into outer space or floating on clouds of ease. He’s working. He’s moving. He’s shifting. He’s completing one work and beginning another.

There’s perpetual hope in God, always something on the horizon, something good coming our way. There’s eternal victory in God. He won the war, so we win the battle. There are everlasting promises in God. His love for us is forever. His longsuffering toward us is forever. He’s left nothing out of our complete success.

We need to see things from God’s perspective. What drowned all the people on the earth, also saved eight souls. To the disciples, Jesus had been crucified, and they didn’t understand it. Until He stood before them. What was death was actually Resurrection. What ended His natural life began our spiritual one.

What looks like the end is actually a new beginning. What looks like the west is the east if you keep going. And a sunrise instead of a sunset. And the end of the valley, because the mountains have been removed.

“It won’t be long before this generous God who has great plans for us in Christ—eternal and glorious plans they are!—will have you put together and on your feet for good. He gets the last word; yes, he does.” (1 Peter 5:11 MSG)
