God Writes History

For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them. (Psalm 44:3)

ONE DAY, a few years ago, I watched the story of Christopher Columbus on some information channel, and it changed my opinion of him entirely. Not that Americans do a big celebration of Columbus Day each year, most overlook it, but putting it frankly, he did some horrible things, so why honor a man like that at all? Apparently, I’m not alone in this thinking because there was the induction of “Indigenous Peoples’ Day” in its place. Now, I’m not saying either day is right or wrong, but I must state where my opinion was before the Lord spoke to me.

I must also reverse to June 28, 2020. On that date, the Lord made a statement to me that has since come full circle. Let me first say, I was a Patriot before that became a political thing, back when it simply meant I loved this land and supported her. Today, I see God’s hand in my life in a myriad of little ways. There’s the fact for the last 25 years my landline phone has played the National Anthem. Yes, the “Star Spangled Banner.” There’s also the story recently where I bought a book about the signers of the Declaration of Independence only to have my brother give me a second copy he bought while on his vacation because he thought I’d like it.

Point is, I was already on a path God wanted me to walk that day in June, though I had no idea. He had placed in my heart a love for country He needed me to carry to bring me to this place in time. During my morning devotionals, He made the following statement to me.

HE SAID, “I needed the United States to form. I needed this nation for Israel. (I said,) ‘I will raise up an ally.’"

I sat back in that moment and let His words soak in, then I did a little research. In 1948, only two nations supported Israel becoming an independent state – Russia and the United States. Russia backed out. Think of it. Without the support of America, Israel would not be a nation. In fact, if you study it, time and time again, the only nation to support Israel against her neighbors and the opinion of the world, many times, has been the United States. During some of her fiercest conflicts, only America had her back.

If you’ve not seen Israel as God’s chosen people, if you’ve not read God’s words to us about her, to pray for her, to love her, then your head has been deep in the sand. No Christian who is faithful to God and declares Jesus Christ, born a Jew, as his or her Savior can “NOT SUPPORT” Israel. These are the words of the Psalm. “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.” (Ps 122:6) The entire history of the world circles around the story of Israel. I’ve heard ministers say God needs America to spread the gospel, and although this is true and a key to our purpose, Holy Spirit made it crystal clear to me that day, America IS because of Israel.

Go with me now back to my opinion of Christopher Columbus. The Lord wrote a poem, which I released in a word dated October 17, 2021. It goes, “I sent 3 ships a'sailing / Across the ocean blue / The new world to discover / In 1492.” The following day, He reworded it, and I thought to myself, “Why all the stress on Christopher Columbus?” After all, he was a creep, right?

The Lord corrected me. I am always willing to be corrected. It does me no good spiritually to fight against the truth. The Lord said, “You’re focus is wrong.” It isn’t that He doesn’t know what Columbus did wrong and the people he hurt along the way, and it isn’t that God doesn’t love native peoples and loves Columbus more. What a ridiculous statement. Jesus died for WHOSOEVER. (Jn 3:16) It is Columbus did what no one, in that day, was willing to do, and God needed a man to do it.

There was a persistent belief that the world was flat and great fear about exploration. This isn’t to say others of many nations had not also explored the west or some hadn’t realized the earth was round. Holy Spirit listed many of these voyagers to me during this conversation. But Columbus was the man who would go and prove all the naysayers wrong. He succeeded in God’s purpose, and other people, seeing his success, would follow and travel to this continent to expand their horizons.

History has been presented to us as a series of random events that happened almost accidentally. It is a man starting out on a trip without a goal on where he is headed, content to stumble into things until he gets there. Then, looking back, he says, “Oh, see where all I’ve been.” No, no, and no. God is the “Extraordinary Strategist.” (Is 9:6 TPT) He is precise and exact and in control. No event in time, not one event that has ever happened, happened by surprise. Nor does He use only godly men and women leading holy lives. Just to prove it, read the words of the High Priest Caiaphas. Here’s a declared enemy of Jesus Christ, a man who wanted the Savior to die, yet the Word of God tells us he “prophesied.”

“And THIS SPAKE HE NOT OF HIMSELF: but being high priest that year, he PROPHESIED that Jesus should die for that nation.” (John 11:51)

What does it say elsewhere? Psalm 21:1 states, “The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.” The Bible is full of stories of this nature. It was a Gentile king who paid for the rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem following the exile. (2Chr 36:22-23) The Egyptian Pharaoh drove his chariots into the parted Red Sea and drowned because it fulfilled God’s plan. Isaiah 46:10 says God declares the end of things at the very beginning. Before they ever happen, He’s already decided how things turn out.

So here’s an Italian explorer, funded by a nation that is not his own, sailing across the ocean blue without a clue of his eternal purpose. He sailed for whatever reason he sailed ultimately because God needed it done. See the earth’s history from God’s perspective. See all the other seemingly unplanned circumstances from that day on which caused this nation to form and realize GOD WRITES HISTORY. We have removed Him from it when He’s been there all along.

Why did a group of men and women decide this land was where they could worship God freely? How did a handful of untrained men manage to defeat the greatest empire in the history of the world? Why did France decide to support the fledgling United States? Why did people mass immigrate to these shores in the years that followed? Where did people run to when Europe erupted into war?

And why does the enemy, the devil, want to destroy America so badly? Because she was created for Israel.

Hear now, the word of the Lord on October 18, 2021.

“I will have all 7 mountains. I will rule not a quarter, not a half, not the bits handed to me, not the leftovers Satan spat out. I WILL RULE THE WHOLE THING. I AM KING OF THESE. I AM KING OF THINGS. I AM KING OF WASHINGTON. I AM KING OF KINGS. THEY WILL HAVE NO OTHER GODS. THEY WILL STAND AS I CLEAN THIS NATION OUT. And scramble for a foothold they will not find … NOW. TODAY. IN THIS HOUR. I BEGIN THE CLEANSE. AMERICA SHALL BE SAVED BECAUSE IT IS MINE, AND I WILL HAVE HER FOR MY PEOPLE ISRAEL. THIS IS FOR ISRAEL WHICH THE THIEF WOULD LIKE TO STEAL. This land is MY LAND from ISRAEL to the NEW YORK ISLAND. My covenant with her forefathers I WILL NOT BREAK. I AM NOT A GOD OF BREAKING UP. I AM A GOD OF BREAKING THROUGH. I AM NOT FAITHLESS. I AM FAITHFUL, AND IF YOU STAND IN MY WAY, CLINGING TO YOUR IDOLS, THEN YOU WILL FALL WITH IT.”

Why did my ancestors come to America? The Lord mentioned them by name. Why did my father’s people and my mother’s people come here to live and grow and prosper? Here’s the mind-blowing truth. They came because God needed me here FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS. The same can be said of you. America is a melting pot, a beautiful tapestry of lineages with UNITY in her name, a sweet fragrance to God that He will not let go of if for no other reason than His people Israel need her.

Get it in your thinking. If you thought we’d fall, if you thought Israel didn’t matter, if you think the devil gets to win this battle in any way, shape, and form, if you think God is ignorant and unaware of anything anywhere, then you are wrong. He’s spent thousands of years forming America for His purpose, and He will not let us go.

Prayers do not die. What our forefathers prayed still stands before the Father as real and fresh and sincere as it has ever been. Our words, our confessions, still come to pass. Thousands, millions of times people have said “UNITED” States. Thousands of times, people have sang “God BLESS America.” Change your focus and realize, the people HAVE prayed, repentance HAS BEEN made, and God will now do His part.

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; THEN will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

THIS IS THEN. These are the words of the Lord. This is that moment when He comes to heal the land the enemy has sought to destroy, that the enemy will not destroy. Because His purpose hasn’t changed. He created America, over thousands of years bringing people to these shores to form a UNION unlike that anywhere else, a world power crafted by God’s hand, written in the center of Jer-USA-lem.

He created America for Israel, so America will stand for Israel.

“Therefore put on the complete armour of God, so that you may be able to stand your ground on the day of battle, and, having fought to the end, to remain victors on the field.” (Ephesians 6:13 Weymouth)
