Keep Walking

There are really only two options: to keep walking forward by faith or to give up. And giving up isn't actually an option because it means staying exactly how you are. Which is a lie because nothing stays the same. By not going forward, things will grow worse instead. So, forget staying in place. You can ONLY go forward. And yeah, I know how hard that is, all the doubts pounding in your brain.

But God is a constant. Consistent. Reliable. Faithful. Trustworthy. He's always desiring your benefit. Fix your thoughts on that as you take the next step. See the goal, not the obstacles, not the amount of time it might take. See the trip. Consider the adventure. You and God, together, enjoying each other's company and you'll look up one day and realize you made it.

"I am sprinting toward the only goal that counts: to cross the line, to win the prize, and to hear God’s call to resurrection life found exclusively in Jesus the Anointed." (Php 3:14 VOICE)

"I mean to chase on towards the finishing post, where the prize waiting for me is the upward call of God in King Jesus." (NTE)

"By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back." (MSG)

"But I do concentrate on this: I leave the past behind and with hands outstretched to whatever lies ahead I go straight for the goal—my reward the honour of being called by God in Christ." (PHILLIPS)

"I keep running hard toward the finish line to get the prize that is mine because God has called me through Christ Jesus to life up there in heaven." (ERV)

"I keep pursuing the goal in order to win the prize offered by God’s upward calling in the Messiah Yeshua." (CJB)
