See the symbolism of the Temple (Solomon's, Ezekiel's) and Christ. Study of Ezekiel 47, in particular, shows the work of salvation. The water which flows from the throne, healing that which was dead, is such a powerful picture of Christ. But consider also the following.
Jesus is the temple. (Mt 26:61; Mt 27:40; Jn 2:19)
He is the headstone. (Zec 4:7) He is the cornerstone. (Is 28:16; 1Pe 2:6-7) These show Him as the "first and the last." (Rev 22:13)
He is the foundation. (Mt 7:25; Lk 6:48)
He is the door. (Jn 10:7.9) I wrote on this in more detail before. See the following article ----->> Abide In The Door.
He is the gate. (Mt 7:13)
He is the way in the holy of holies through the veil. (Mt 27:51; Mk 15:38; Jn 14:6; Heb 10:20)
He is the faithful High Priest. (Heb 2:17)
He is the sacrifice on the altar (Lamb of God). (Jn 1:29; Eph 5:2)
He is the sweet-smelling savour (incense). (Eph 5:2)
He is the bread of life (shewbread). (Jn 6:35,48)
He is the cleansing water (laver, sea). (Jn 4:10; Jn 7:38; Eph 5:26)
He is the light (candlestick, lamps). (Jn 1:4, 9)
He sits on the mercy seat. (Eph 2:4, 7; Jude 1:21)
