Stand and Rejoice

I woke up this morning and heard, "the Lion wants justice," then a verse from the Voice Translation, "And it happened just as God said." (Ge 1:24) This goes along with a prophecy spoken this morning by Lana Vawser. The Word of God says to "despise not prophesying" and also to "try the spirits" of the prophets. (1Th 5:20; 1Jn 4:1) Hers is a voice I trust.

Yesterday, the Holy Spirit said, "Stand and rejoice." The devotional below is what I shared on Facebook. I felt it would encourage you today.

Ephesians 6:13-14 says, "and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore." But the fact we are standing isn't enough. We must stand in the correction LOCATION. We must stand with the correct MOTIVE. We must stand for the correct PRINCIPLES.

Stand in a swamp, and you will sink into the mud. Stand on a rock, and you will be high above your enemies. WHERE are you standing? (Ps 27:6)

We stand and rejoice. We stand in faith of the power of God. We stand unwavering. We stand and declare the wonderful works of God. HOW are you standing? And WHAT are you doing while you stand there? (Rm 5:2; 1Co 2:5; Jas 1:6; Acts 2:11)

Not stand and complain. Not stand and worry. Not stand and dread. But stand and praise. (1Ch 23:30; Neh 9:5)

Because we stand in the secret place of the Most High, below His shadow, beneath His wings, behind our shield, inside His strong tower. We stand in confidence that He who has begun a good work in us will complete it. We stand and look not at the seen but at the unseen, knowing our God is willing and able to deliver us. (Ps 91:1,4; Eph 6:16; Pr 18:10; Php 1:6; 2Co 4:18)

We stand fast. We stand praying, in forgiveness. We stand in unity of faith. Then having DONE ALL that we are commanded to do WHEN we stand, we stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. (1Co 16:13; Mk 11:25; Eph 4:13; Ex 14:13)
